Lifeboat 
The 25-foot Defender Class Response Boat, (RB-S, "rib" or SAFE boat) is highly maneuverable and built for speed.  It is used primarily as a homeland security and law enforcement platform, conducting escorts, enforcing security zones, and delivering boarding teams. (photo USCG)

   

   

USCG 41 ft  boat
The 41-foot Utility Boat (UTB) is used to conduct search and rescue and law enforcement missions. The UTBs have been used for many years and their long-range endurance, speed, and power have helped saved lives and property. (photo USCG)

     

     

Motor Lifeboat
The 47-foot Motor Life Boat (MLB) is often used for rescues in bad weather and rough surf. The MLB is designed to self-right and keep running after an inversion. (photo USCG)

     

     

CG 87 ft Patrol Boat
